Abhyangam

Abhyangam is a sanskrit word which means oil application. It is commonly known as Ayurvedic oil massage. Abhyangam relaxes muscle; relieves body tension while at the same time improving body circulation.

Pindasweda

It is a shashtikshali rice pudding ties up in a muslin bags. This bag dip in the medicated milk and use externally on the whole body part or any specific part to made it perspire. It increases muscle tone and strength, also useful in joint pain.

Shirodhara

The name comes from sanskrit word shiro (head) & dhara (flow) continues steadily and slowly medicated liquid flow over the forehead is called Shirodhara. Useful to calm the mind, ideal treatment for stress, tension, anxiety & insomnia. Also useful for hair treatment & paralysis.

Netra Tarpan

Tarpan means nourishment as the name suggested indicated in Netraroga. Where medicated ghee is retained in eyes for stipulated time. Akshitarpan is an eye care treatment & rejuvenation procedure in Ayurveda.

Patrapottali sweda

Potrapottali is the specially prepared bundle of medicinal leaves highly effective in ailments affecting bones joints and nervous system.

Katibasti

Kati basti is a treatment for the spinal disc problem of lower back and sukhoshna (tolerable & comfortable to patient) medicated oil is poured in the ring for few minutes Kati basti is deep tissue therapy using oil to repair the repair the tissue g heat to heal.

How much time should i take any medicines?

Duration of medication depends on disease of patient. If patient is suffering from any disease for a longer time (i.e. more than 1 year) it would take longer period to cure.

Does Ayu. medicines generate heat in body?

No, Ayurvedic medicines are given to you as per your “prakruti” i.e body type, after nadi – parikshan.

Ayurvedic medicines are very costly?

It depends on what kind of medicines is giving to you. Only Gold compounds are costly.

Can Ayurvedic treatments avoid surgeries?

Yes, most of the times we can avoid surgeries by Ayurvedic treatments.
